BSF arrests one smuggler, seizes half a dozen cattles & Phensedyl

Kolkata:Troops of BOP Dangapara, 15 Bn BSF deployed on Indo-Bangladesh border in Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal apprehended one smuggler along with 6 cattle while he was trying to smuggle these cattle from India to Bangladesh.
Troops of Battalions under North Bengal Frontier BSF deployed on Indo-Bangladesh border in West Bengal under the dynamic leadership of Ajai Singh, Inspector General of North Bengal Frontier BSF are maintaining alertness on the border to thwart any attempt of anti-national elements to execute their nefarious design of smuggling and infiltrations.
Besides, in the intervening night of 06/07 Jan 2022, troops of under command Battalions of North Bengal Frontier BSF carried out special anti-smuggling drive in their respective border areas to thwart any attempt by ANEs to execute their nefarious design of smuggling and seized 26 Cattle, 50 Bottle of Phensedyl & other contraband items from different border areas.
The total value of seized items is Rs 4,59,421. The above items were seized by BSF troops while smugglers were trying to smuggle these items from India to Bangladesh.(UNI)
