CM Rupani to contest from Rajkot, BJP releases list of 70

New Delhi: The BJP on Friday announced its first list of 70 candidates for the ensuing Gujarat polls nominating among others Chief Minister Vijay Rupani from the Rajkot (West) seat.
Announcing the list of candidates here, BJP general secretary and Union Minister JP Nadda said, Deputy CM Nitin Patel will fight it out in Mahesana assembly constituency.Generally springing no major surprise, the party has repeated most of the sitting legislators.Among others, Manishaben Vakil will contest on behalf of the saffron outfit from Vadodara City (SC) seat.(UNI)
