Total COVID-19 +ve cases mount to 664 in the country, 15 casualty

New Delhi: So far, 11 people have died due to the Coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the country while the number of infected patients has risen to 664.
According to the Health Ministry's Wednesday report, the COVID outbreak has spread to 25 states and union territories of the country and 664 cases have been confirmed. So far, 15 people have died across the country due to the infection and 43  have recovered.
 
Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana and Ladakh have reported the highest number of infections so far. The pandemic has killed one person each in Maharashtra and Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, Bihar, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal.
 
A 65-year-old woman from Mumbai, who tested positive for Coronavirus, has died, but the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, the Maharashtra Health Department announced on Thursday.
 
The state also reported two new positive cases in Mumbai and Thane taking the total to 124 in the state,  the Health Department said.(UNI)
