Two CRPF personnel injured in militant attack in Kashmir

Srinagar : Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured when militants attacked their vehicle in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Thursday, official sources said.


 


They said militants fired upon a CRPF vehicle with automatic weapons at K P Road in Anantnag district resulting in injuries to two personnel. Security forces also retaliated but the militants escaped, they said.

The entire area has been cordoned off and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants responsible for the attack.

CRPF vehicle was on way to Pahalgam when the attack took place, they said. (UNI)
