New Delhi: Air quality in the national capital continued to reel under 'very poor' category on Friday with an average index value of 360 around noon, as per Central Pollution Control Board.
Air quality that witnessed slight improvement with the beginning of this week again began to get bad beginning Friday  most likely due to change in the weather and decrease in the wind speed that had improved on Sunday.

The other factors that impact making the air dense were also contributing towards depleting the air quality as the minimum temperature this morning was 11.8 degrees C and relative humidity on Friday morning pegged at 91 per cent.

People complained overall uneasiness in the early hours while morning walkers were seen wearing masks with the haze present in the sky in the early hours.

Accumulation of the pollutants becomes more likely with very low wind speed and high humidity and low temperature making the air dense and cold while shallow fog makes the situation even worse.(UNI)
