Delhi Assembly Elections: Kejriwal releases ‘guarantee card’, promises 24 hour tap water and electricity

New Delhi: Ahead of February 8 Delhi Assembly polls, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday promised that if the AAP government is voted to power again then it will continue with its all free schemes related to electricity and water.

Launching “Kejriwal Ka Guarantee Card” here, the AAP national convenor said, “It is guarantee of Kejriwal that for the next 5 years also 24 hours of electricity will be provided and it will be free up to 200 units of consumption.”

The 10-point ‘Guarantee Card states that the AAP government on being re-elected would continue with its all free government schemes for the next five years.

Mr Kejriwal said, “Delhi is the only city in the country which has 24 hour power supply.”

Mentioning about the water, the Delhi Chief Minister said, “We will make sure that the tap water is available for 24 hours in the city in the next five years.”

Mr Kejriwal said that the Card is not the party’s manifesto. The manifesto will be launched in the next 7 to 10 days, he said.

“In our manifesto, we will talk about doctors, teachers and other things. And I guarantee that we will fulfill our all manifesto promises,” he added. (UNI)
