The order came after the Enforcement Directorate filed a new complaint against the AAP leader for skipping multiple summonses issued to him in connection with the alleged excise policy scam.
Meanwhile, the AAP national convenor accused the PM Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of forcing opposition leaders to join the BJP by harassing them using the ED.
In a social media post on X, Kejriwal said, “This is the truth about ED and the Modi government. How people are coerced into joining the BJP after being harassed by ED. After an ED raid, the question is asked - where will you go - BJP or jail? Those who refuse to join BJP are sent to jail.”
“If Satyendar Jain, Manish Sisodia, and Sanjay Singh join BJP on Thursday, they will be granted bail tomorrow itself. It is not that these three have committed any crime; they simply refused to join the BJP. If I join the BJP today, I will also stop receiving summonses from ED. But in God's place, there is delay, not darkness. Prime Minister, fear God. Things do not remain the same forever. Time is very powerful,” he said.
Kejriwal had previously skipped eight summonses issued by the ED. The agency last asked him to appear before it on March 4.
The AAP leader skipped all the summonses, calling them "illegal," and stated that he would only appear before the Enforcement Directorate if ordered by the court to do so.
