Devendra Fadnavis to be sworn-in as Maharashtra Chief Minister on Thursday

Mumbai: Senior Bharatiya Janata party leader Devendra Fadnavis will be sworn-in as new Chief Minister of Maharashtra at Azad maidan here on Thursday.
 
Fadnavis was unanimously elected as the BJP legislature party leader at a meeting held here on Wednesday.
 
All BJP leaders have endorsed his name for the post of CM in the presence of Central observers Nirmala Sitharaman and Vijay Rupani.
 
Former Minister Chandrakant Patil proposed the name of Devendra Fadnavis which was approved by all BJP MLAs present at the meeting.
 
A rift within Maharashtra's ruling Mahayuti alliance on the formation of the government has finally been resolved.
