Duo alleged Al-Qaeda terrorists sent to ATS remand for 14 days

Lucknow:The two Al Qaeda terrorists nabbed by Uttar Pradesh ATS from Dubagga of Kakori have been remanded to police custody for 14 days.They were produced before a court on Monday that remanded them to ATS custody.
Both Minhaj and Masiruddin, the Al-Qaeda linked terrorists, were brought in the court under tight security.
 
During their 14-day remand, UP ATS will try to get more secrets from them.The ATS produced them before the court at around 3:30 pm. The ATS sought their custody which was granted.
 
The special judge ATS Yogendra Ram Gupta allowed ATS remand of the two suspect from 0900 hours of July 13 to 0900 hours of July 26.
 
Minhaj and Masiruddin, who were caught on Sunday, have given many important information in the initial interrogation. On the basis of which some other suspects are also being searched. The family members of both have also been questioned. Their mobiles are also being searched. Along with this, the process of interrogation of many youths who came under suspicion is also underway.
 
Minhas and Masiruddin, who were reported to be planning a big conspiracy, were caught from a house in Dubbaga, Kakori under the operation. Two pressure cooker bombs, a semi-fabricated time bomb, two pistols and a large quantity of explosives were recovered from them.
 
They were planning to carryout blasts in many cities before Independence Day. Not only this, there were also planning terror attacks in Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi, ATS sources said.(UNI)
