The accused, Animika Singh, teaching at Kasturba Gandhi school, was rooted in 25 schools of the nearby districts through fake orders in the name of Anamika Shukla.
She was arrested when she came to submit her resignation letter to Basic Siksha Adhikari (BSA) office, police sources said.
Prima facie, as per police, it was found that a person, identified as Raj, an employee of Kasturba Gandhi School, was the main accused behind appointments.
Animika was a full time science teacher at the Faridpur school. The education department has issued a notice and suspended her salary.(UNI)
