Gurugram: Guardians of school children and nearby local residents resorted to creating ruckus on the second consecutive day today by breaking glasses of Ryan International school in Gurugram and setting afire shops in the area as protest against the brutal murder of a second standard seven-year-old student by a bus conductor in the school premises on Friday.
The police had to lathi charge the agitators to disperse them in which some media crew also sustained injuries. The protestors held a fierce protest against the school administration outside the school. They are not satisfied with merely the arrest of one bus conductor who has been made as an accused in the case and suspension of the school principal but are demanding cancellation of the licence of the school. The protestors are of the view that there is something that the school administration is 'hiding' and the Police and the administration are conniving with it.
Most of the parents, including the deceased Pradyuman's, are demanding a CBI inquiry into the case. Pradyuman's mother says , "it is possible that my child might have seen something which was highly secretive and to hide it, he was killed.' Chief minister Manohar Lal has assured that the culprit will not be spared but the parents are not ready to accept the promise and are adamant on stringent action against the school and authorities.
