Guj polls: 68.7 pc overall voting in second phase

Ahmedabad: PM Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah on Thursday cast his vote for the Gujarat Assembly elections at sub-zonal office under Naranpura constituency and also urged the people to exercise their franchise for the development of the state. As per the initial reports, voter turnout has been 68.7 pc in the end which is 2-3 percent below as compared to the 2012 state assembly elections.
 

In the past, Mr Shah has represented this seat as a lawmaker. This time, the saffron party has fielded Kaushik Patel while Nitin Patel is contesting from the Congress party.
