Haryana: Big terror plot busted; 4 terrorists arrested in Karnal, huge quantities of explosives recovered

Karnal: Haryana Police have arrested four suspected terrorists along with explosives from near the Bastara toll plaza, police said on Thursday.
The suspected terrorists were travelling in a car from Punjab to Adilabad in Telangana to deliver a consignment of explosives.
The arrested accused have been identified as Gurpreet, Amandeep, Parminder and Bhupinder. Three of the nabbed suspects belong to Ferozepur district of Punjab while the fourth hails from Ludhiana (Punjab).
Police have recovered a country made pistol, 31 live ammunition, explosives with 3 iron container and Rs 1.3 lakh in cash from them.
Karnal Superintendent of Police Ganga Ram Punia informed that the suspects were in touch with a Pakistan-based man who used to send locations to them to deliver explosives and weapons.
Police said Harvinder Singh alias Rinda used to drop weapons and explosives in Ferozepur (Punjab) with the help of drones.
The Madhuban police have registered a case under the Explosive Substance Act and Arms Act. (UNI)
