Chandigarh: Haryana Government has declared May 28, the day Kairana Parliamentary Constituency of Uttar Pradesh goes to poll, as paid holiday, Casual Leave (paid) in all the government offices of the state.The step has been taken to facilitate people who are registered voters in Kairana, under section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
While stating this here on Sunday, an official spokesman said that the employers of those establishments in the state, whose workers are registered voters in Kairana Parliamentary Constituency, have been directed to grant their employees and daily wagers or casual workers paid holiday on the date of poll.(UNI)
