Kejriwal seeks Modi’s blessings, says will work in harmony with Centre for Delhi’s development

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday sought blessing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after taking oath as Chief Minister of Delhi and said he will work in harmony with the Centre for development of the national capital.

Addressing the gathering at iconic Ramlila Maidan here, Mr Kejriwal said, “I had sent invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the oath taking ceremony. But he could not come, may be he is busy at some other event.”
“I want our Prime Minister’s blessing too for Delhi’s development. I am ready to work with the Centre for Delhi’s betterment,” Mr Kejriwal added.
Mr Kejriwal said he has forgiven opposition for all remarks made against him.
He said, “I want to work with everyone. I am the CM of every Delhiite. You are now my family and I will work for you irrespective of class, economic status, religion and caste.” (UNI)
