New Delhi: Soon after the order allowing reopening of shops in non-containment zones on Friday late night, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Saturday issued clarification on the amendments made to the consolidated revised guidelines on lockdown measures on April 24.
All shops in rural areas, except those in shopping malls, have been allowed to resume operations whereas in urban areas, all standalone shops, neighbourhood shops and shops in residential complexes are allowed. However, it is not applicable to shops in markets and market complexes and shopping malls, the MHA communication added.
