Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan went into quarantine on Saturday subsequent to testing positive for the novel coronavirus. Himself confirming the development through a message, the senior politician averred, "I urge one and all to exercise every precaution for safeguarding themselves against the contagion."
Himachal CM wishes speedy recovery of Shivraj Singh Chauhan
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Saturday wished good health and early recovery of his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who was tested positive for novel Coronavirus.
Taking to his twitter handle, Mr Thakur tweeted in Hindi, "The news of our partner and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan being corona positive is worrying. I pray for his early recovery."
He was replying to Mr Chauhan's tweet in which he said, "I was showing symptoms of Covid-19. I went through the tests and the results have proven to be positive. I urge all those who came in contact with me in recent days to get themselves tested. All those close to me should go into quarantine."
In is his absence, Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra, Urban Development Minister Bhupendra Singh, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang and Health Minister Dr Prabhuram Choudhary will chair regular meetings via video-conference, the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister added.(UNI)
