New Delhi: Making a strong remark over the incident in Manipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that it "brings shame to humanity” and what has happened to daughters of Manipur can never be forgiven and the "guilty will not be spared.”
Addressing the media, before the Monsoon Session of Parliament on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "The whole country is being insulted, and 140 crore countrymen are feeling ashamed. I assure the countrymen that no culprit will be spared. What has happened to these daughters of Manipur can never be forgiven."

Following the outrage over the viral video, the main culprit has been arrested on Thursday.
