PM, CM and governors of states wish people on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr

New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted people on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
"Have a blessed Eid-ul-Fitr," he tweeted."May this special day ignite the spirit of harmony, compassion and peace in our society. May everyone be blessed with happiness," he wished.

Bhopal:As Ramzan draws to a close, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the populace, especially Mohammedan brethren.
"At the conclusion of this sacred month of prayer, the celebration brings elation. I pray to the Almighty for peace and prosperity in the state. Let the happiness of Eid stay on forever," he averred in a message.
Governor, his advisors, Omar, Farooq greet people on Eid-ul-Fitr
Srinagar:Governor Satya Pal Malik, his advisors, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and vice-president Omar Abdullah on Tuesday greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
An official spokesperson said that the Governor has prayed to the Almighty to keep the humanity firm in its faith and good deeds and bless people with a good life.
He has expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which are the hallmarks of J&K's glorious pluralistic traditions.
He said Advisor to Governor and Chairman, J&K Muslim Wakf Board/Wakf Council, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar, Advisor to Governor, K K Sharma and Advisor to Governor K Skandan, greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Meanwhile, an NC spokesperson said that Dr Farooq and Mr Abdullah extended warm greeting to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The NC president in his message hoped that the Eid-ul-Fitr will be the harbinger of peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity in our state.
"On the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to people. May this Eid bring happiness and god's endless blessings to us, I wish Eid Mubarak to all," he said in his message.
"The spirit behind the observance of Eid Ul Fitr, which marks the end of month-long fasting, is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us courage to observe fast in the month of Ramazan and rededicate ourselves to truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, and patience showing complete obedience to Allah. Eid also embeds the message of taking care of the needy and making them part of the happiness by extending financial support to them. I wish Eid Mubarak to all," Mr Abdullah said.
Mah Governor greets people on Eid-ul-Fitr
Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao on Tuesday greeted the people of Maharashtra on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr. In his message, Governor Rao said, "The holy month of Ramzan underlines the importance of fasting, prayers, charity and service."
"I extend my heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people of Maharashtra, especially to all Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. May the festival bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all," the Governor added.
Telangana CM greets people on Eid-ul-Fitr
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao conveyed his greetings to the brethren of Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday.
In a message, the Chief Minister said that Eid-ul-Fitr marks the conclusion of the period of fasting and prayer during the holy month of Ramzan and infuses the spirit of fraternity, brotherhood and the spirit of harmony.(UNI)
