Help those in need, reaffirm importance of social distancing, PM tells BJP workers
New Delhi:On the occasion of party's 40th foundation day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday appealed to BJP workers to help those in need in line with the party's ethos and reaffirm the importance of social distancing .
''Whenever BJP has got an opportunity to serve, the party has focused on good governance and empowering the poor. In line with the party's ethos, our Karyakartas have worked hard to bring a positive difference in the lives of many and done great social service,'' Mr Modi said.
He appealed to party karyakartas to follow the set of guidelines from party President J P Nadda and help those in need and reaffirm the importance of social distancing.
''We mark our Party's 40th Anniversary when India is battling COVID-19. I appeal to BJP Karyakartas to follow the set of guidelines from our party President J P Nadda, help those in need and reaffirm the importance of social distancing. Let's make India COVID-19 free''.
He greeted party workers on Sthapana Diwas of the Party and paid tributes to all those who have toiled hard to build the BJP for decades.
''Tributes to all those who have toiled hard to build the Party for decades, due to which BJP has got the opportunity to serve crores of Indians across our nation's length and breadth,'' he said.
PM exhorts BJP workers for 'Antyodaya' & 'Atal Sankalpa' during Corona crisis
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday made five requests to party workers, including 'Antyodaya' and 'Atal Sankalpa' on the occasion of BJP's 40th foundation day.
Greeting party workers on 40th Sthapana Diwas of the BJP, he made five requests of the many suggestions made by the party workers including 'Antyodaya' (uplifting of the weakest section of the society) and 'Atal Sankalpa'(Firm resolve).
''My first request is 'Seva Abhiyan' for providing ration the poor. ''Every BJP worker has to ensure that not a single poor is hungry around us, he has enough food,'' he said.
The second request is that party workers should make face-covers and distribute them to 5-7 people as well.''The third request is - whatever nurses and doctors in your area, sweepers, policemen, bank or post office workers or all employees engaged in essential services, every BJP worker has to thank them to show gratitude,'' Mr Modi said. For this, on the 40th Foundation Day of the party, collect thankyou messages from at least 40 houses in respective booths, he told karyakartas.
The fourth request is that the party workers should inform more and more people about 'Arogya Setu App' and get this app installed in the mobile of at least 40 people. ''My fifth request is that every BJP worker has to support the PM-CARES fund and make 40 others also to contribute to it,''he said.
Mr Modi said in this difficult time of global Corona crisis, the responsibility of national service and human service on all the workers of BJP increases even more.
''We are people who believe in the mantra of 'Charaivati-Charaivati'(March along). We have to keep growing, for the good of the poor, to work continuously for the development of the country,'' he said.
India's efforts so far to deal with the Corona global pandemic has set a different example to the world, Mr Modi said. When all the countries were trying to guess the magnitude of this virus, India had made several decisions one after the other, he maintained.
Whether it is a one-day Janta curfew or this time of lockdown, every Indian is standing firmly with the country even after going through all the difficulties, he stated.(UNI)
