PM Modi reaches Ahmedabad for Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, to hold roadshow with UAE President tonight

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country's largest Global Trade show on Tuesday in Gandhinagar, one day ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will lead a road show from outside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport this evening, and then he will hold a meeting with CEOs of top global corporations.
 
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with world leaders, including the President of Timor Leste and President of Mozambique.
 
On January 10 (Wednesday), he will inaugurate the tenth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday late night.
 
Modi was received by Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil and Governor Acharya Devvrat.
 
This tenth Edition of the Summit will celebrate “20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success”.
 
The summit is being held from January 10 to 12 , 2024, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, under the theme of 'Gateway to the Future, as per the statement from Prime Minister office on Sunday.
 
Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was conceptualised in 2003 by Modi, who was then the state Chief Minister.
 
"The summit today evolved as one of the most reputed global forums for business collaboration, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships for inclusive growth and sustainable development" said PMO.
 
After inaugurating the summit, Modi will hold a meeting with CEOs of top global corporations Later he will travel to GIFT City where, at around 5:15 PM, he will interact with prominent business leaders in the Global FinTech Leadership Forum said the PMO.
 
There are 34 Partner countries and 16 Partner organisations for this year’s Summit.
 
The Ministry of Development of the North-Eastern Region will utilise the Vibrant Gujarat platform to showcase investment opportunities in the North-Eastern regions.
 
In the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, companies will display products made from world class state of the art technology.

HAL to showcase its products
 
HAL is all set to participate in the 10th edition of ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2024’ from January 9 to 13 here in the city.
 
"With the thrust on 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat', HAL seeks to explore the capability of Indian industries through this event," HAL CMD CB Ananthakrishnan said.
 
One of the major attractions at the HAL stall will be the Su-30 MKI aircraft which has been modified indigenously for integration of air-to-ground BrahMos missile manufactured in India. The missile weighs 2500 kg and has a range of nearly 300 km.
 
HAL has, to date, manufactured 220 Su-30 MKI aircraft and overhauled over 100 Su-30 MKI.
 
HAL’s Prachand Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) will be on static display. A Make-in-India product built with private participation, LCH is the only attack helicopter in the world that can land and take off at an altitude of 5000 m (16,400 ft) with a considerable load of weapons and fuel meeting the specific requirements of Indian Armed Forces.
 
HAL has identified over 100 critical items for indigenisation and will display some of them in the show. Besides, the scale models of Su-30, LCA, ALH WSI, HTT40 and Do-228, HAL stall will showcase core competencies and capabilities of Indian industries, opportunities in indigenisation of critical aerospace parts, aggregates, LRUs, materials, and consumables.
 
During the show, HAL will also focus on strategies for strengthening the aerospace ecosystem by interacting with the Indian industry to open the gateway for the future.
 
Six manufacturing divisions of HAL- Aircraft Division Nashik, Engine Division Koraput, Accessories Division Hyderabad and Lucknow, Transport Aircraft Division, Kanpur and Engine Division Bengaluru are participating in the event.
