Prabhu tweets farewell message; thanks rail family for support

New Delhi: In what may be called as a farewell message, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, who is expected to lose the portfolio,  thanked the rail family for their support. Soon after the Cabinet reshuffle, Mr Prabhu tweeted, "Thanks to 13 Lacs+ rail family for support,love,goodwill.Will always cherish these memories with me.Wishing u all a great life".

Mr Prabhu also congratulated the new ministers and said, "Congrats to all members of #TeamModi for new responsibility.Making our conuntry better is our common mission.#NewIndia #cabinetreshuffle". "Congrats to @dpradhanbjp @PiyushGoyal @nsitharaman @naqvimukhtar for their new responsibilities Best wishes for great success". After facing criticism following two major successive train accidents last month, Mr Prabhu had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and offered to resign to which the PM had asked him to “wait”. (UNI)
