Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Quota activist Jarange-Patil factor was missing in assembly polls in Marathwada of Maharashtra as results indicated.

The results of the assembly elections across the Marathwada region were declared up to last evening of Saturday.

It has been seen that voters have voted in large numbers for Mahayuti's candidates, and it seems that Mahavikas Aghadi has clearly gone down.

Statistics have revealed that the effect of Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil factor in the assembly elections was not seen not only in the state but also in Marathwada.

As per the results, out of 46 seats in Marathwada, the Mahayuti has won 39 seats and the Mahavikas Aghadi won only 7 seats.

During the Lok Sabha elections, it was seen that the Maratha community became aggressive on the issue of reservation in Maharashtra.

Mahayuti had to accept defeat in many seats and had won only a single seat of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Lok Sabha, the rest of the seven seats won by MVA.

After that, Jarange Patil started criticising the BJP, especially Devendra Fadnavis, on several occasions during his agitation.

Jarange Patil had announced to contest the assembly elections. However, at the last moment, Jarange Patil withdrew, announcing that he would not contest the election.

Meanwhile, Jarange appealed to the community members that the Maratha community should now start preparations for their mass hunger strike after the assembly elections.

No matter who comes to power in the assembly elections, I will have to fight for reservation. New ministers will be allowed to enjoy 8 days. After that, the date of the fast will be announced.
