A bloodbath was witnessed on Dalal Street, as the BSE Sensex plunged 2823 pts at 71,541.55 in the opening trade following global tariff tension and growing recession concern in US.The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell by 882.10 pts at 22,022.35 pts.All the stocks were in red, as Metal was badly hit down by 7.40 pc followed by Commodities by 5.72 pc, Focussed IT by 5.57 pc and Capital Goods by 5.59 pc.
Even, global Market was also seen crashed.The Nifty registered days high at 22,190 and low at 21,743.65 pts.The Mid cap fell 4.58 pc and Small cap by 6 pc.All 30 scrips declined.The losers were Tata Motors, which slid by 10.08 pc to Rs 552, Tata Steel by 10.07 pc to Rs 126.30, HCL Technologies by 6.76 pc to Rs 1325.75, L& T by 6.06 pc to Rs 3061.75 and Tech Mahindra by 5.81 pc to Rs 1244.75.(UNI)
