Shiv Sena to walk out of BJP-led govt within a year: Aaditya Thackeray

Ahmednagar: The Shiv Sena on Thursday threatened Bhartiya Janata Party-led government in Maharashtra by saying that the Sena will walk out of the government within a year and will contest next Assembly election in state independently.The Sena, which shares a frosty relationship with its senior partner BJP, had threatened several times in the past to walk out of the NDA government.
Addressing a rally in the district, Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray said the Sena will come to power in state only after quitting from BJP."Shiv Sena will form the next government on its own in 2019," said junior Thackeray. He rued that several issues affecting the people of Maharashtra were still unresolved. Talking about one such issue pertaining to education sector, Mr Thackeray said that a number of students has been visiting his home in Mumbai with their demands.(UNI)
