Tension at Delhi’s Singhu border as locals clash with protesting farmers, SHO injured (Video)

New Delhi: A clash between a group of people and agitating farmers erupted at Singhu border on Friday afternoon in which Alipur Station House Officer (SHO) and several other people were injured.
As per the police, they were forced to resort to baton charge and fire tear gas shells when the two groups clashed and pelted stones at each other. Alipur SHO Pradeep Paaliwal, scores of protesting farmers and others were injured in the violence.
The clash, according to the police, occurred when the group of people, claiming to be locals, entered the protesting site and started forcing the farmers to vacate the border road.
