Ayodhya (UP): With the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in full swing, ten cities to be equipped with modern facilities are being set up at six places in Ayodhya for the devotees to stay during the consecration ceremony.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) sources said that a tent city was being set up in Guptar Ghat, Brahma Kund, Gurudwara, behind Ram Katha Museum, Bagh Vijeshi, Karsevak Puram and in the premises of Maniram Das Chhavani.
Sources said that while these tent cities will be equipped with modern facilities, it will have the facility to accommodate about 88,000 thousand devotees. "A grand city is almost ready near Brahmakund Gurudwara and this tent city is being constructed by Gujarat company Parvez. It looks no less than a big hotel built on 8,500 square meters," they said.
A glimpse of the culture of Ayodhya is also visible in its construction. The attraction of the grand gate increases as soon as one reaches the entrance of the tent city. As soon as one steps in, Lord Ram's Charan Paduka and Ramdhun situated in the middle of the attractive fountain are seen giving joy to the devotees.
A total of 30 rooms have been constructed here which have all modern facilities. A cultural stage is also being built in the tent city complex in which Ram Lila culture show will also be presented.
A tent city of 35 rooms is being set up behind the Ram Katha Museum by Parvez Company itself. There will be hotel-like facilities here too. The tent city under construction by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for 25,000 devotees in Bagh Vijeshi will be ready by the end of this month.
There will be a restaurant in every city where 1,000 people will be able to eat together. The tent city will also be equipped with facilities like heater and geyser. For this, electricity connections of 280 to 300 kilowatts are being given. (UNI)
