Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has condemned the recent attacks on a Hindu temple in Canada and called it 'unfrotunate'.
The Art of Living founder said, "For generations, Canada has been a place where people of all backgrounds and faiths have lived together in peace and harmony. It is deeply disheartening to witness the recent attacks on a Hindu temple in such a country. These acts must be condemned by all. We must ensure that such incidents are not repeated, and those responsible should be held accountable and face the consequences of their actions."
"By attacking the temple, they are not only disrespecting Hindus but also dishonouring the Sikh Gurus. The ten Sikh Gurus dedicated their lives to protecting temples and preserving Sanatan Dharma. Historically, Hindu families have stood with the Gurus, even giving family members to fight against injustice, terrorism, and extremism. To disrespect the Sikh Gurus and their mission is profoundly unfortunate and unacceptable," he added.
"This incident reflects a grave lack of ethics. In these challenging times, I urge everyone to remain calm, exercise restraint, and practice patience," he further added.
