Union Minister Anurag Thakur slams congress on toolkit row

Wednesday, 19 May 2021 (22:12 IST)
Hamirpur: Union Minister of state for Finance and Corporate affairs, Anurag Singh Thakur has once again said that the Congress Party's efforts to break the country have come to an end, while describing the leaked toolkit of the Congress Party as a kit to play with the country's credibility.
He said in a statement today, "On one side, the country is engaged in a complete fight to defeat Corona under the leadership of Modi ji, on the other hand, the Congress party is creating confusion about this epidemic and discrediting the Modi government. The plot is unscrambled. People are in danger due to the busting of the conspiracy to defame the country with the leaked Congress toolkit. The attempt by the Congress party to break the country has come to an end. It is not a tool kit of Congress "Break-the-nation kit using which their intentions to take political advantage and tarnish the image of India on the international stage have come out clearly".

Thakur said, "The Congress has become so blind for political gains that they have also made Dharma Karma a part of their conspiracy. Their toolkit has been talked about promoting Kumbh as a superior spreader. The Congress has tried to discredit religion by comparing Eid and Kumbh. Their personal agenda claims to have failed in the corona management of the Modi government and has been attributed to the Kumbh Mela, election rallies and the Central Vista Project. The toolkit refers to questioning the PM's fund's for the CORONA fight and promoting the Central Vista project as Modi's personal home and palace, which is not only ridiculous but also reflects his poor thinking and sullen mentality. "

The minister said that the Congress party has always been doing politics on corpses and once again they have put forward their gruesome faces. Instructions were given in their toolkit to use photographs of dead bodies to spread despair and negativity in the country.

He said that in a civilized society such petty acts are unacceptable and needed to be condemned with firm hands.

UP minister hit back at Priyanka Gandhi Vadra
Lucknow May 19(UNI) Uttar Pradesh minister of state for basic education Satish Dwivedi has hit back on the congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, accusing her of indulging in politics of corpses.

"Priyanka must refrain from the politics of corpses and only three teachers died during poll duty for panchyat election. In the hour of crisis due to pandemic she should stand with the nation instead of demoralising the people’’, said the minister adding `` the Congress through its toolkit has tried to sabotage the efforts of the government to provide medical aid to the people’’.

The minister alleged that toolkit in a bid to malign the image of the country has asked hospitals to not to give bed to corona patients unless recommended by the Congress leaders.

Questioning the rationale of the campaign against the Congress on social media, the minister said `` when lockdown was imposed for the first time in March 2020, than Rahul and Priyanka had questioned it and also the livelihood of the migrant labours. This year the government has not imposed lockdown then they are asking for it’’. He added `` the opposition instead of extending its cooperation to the government is indulging in petty politics for its narrow political ends’’.

He said after recovering from corona, chief minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly touring the state and has so far covered 10 divisions. He said WHIO has also praised the `test, track and treat’ strategy for combating covid, adopted by the UP government. He claimed that presently there is no shortage of beds and oxygen in the state.
