'Vaccination Fraud' with TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty, 'Fake Vaccine' administered

People have begun minting money from the vaccination drive. The latest victim being Bengali film actress and Trinamool Congress MP Mimi Chakraborty. She has become a victim of Corona's fraud vaccine. After this case came to the fore the fake vaccination centre in Kolkata has been busted.
A man pretending to be an IAS officer bluffed Mimi. Kolkata Police has arrested a person named Debanjan Deb in this case.
TMC MP Mimi said, 'A person near me claimed himself an IAS officer and said that he is running a special vaccination drive for transgenders and differently-abled. Along with this, the person requested me to come to the vaccination camp.'
The TMC MP further said, 'I also got the Covishield vaccine to boost the morale of the people, but never got the confirmation message from Co-Win App. Subsequently, I complained to Kolkata Police and later the accused was arrested. Mimi Chakraborty stated that the accused person was also using fake stickers and blue beacons on his car.
Kolkata Police issued a statement, 'We have not found any vial, which has an expiry date. The confiscated vaccine vial will be sent for examination to determine whether it is genuine or fake. The accused will be interrogated in this regard. The investigation of the case is with the Kolkata Police Detective Department.
The Lok Sabha MP from Jadavpur had reached a vaccination camp in the Kasba area on Tuesday. She administered the first dose of the allegedly fake corona vaccine. Later She got suspicious when no message was received despite getting jabbed. When she spoke to the organizers in this regard, she was told that a certificate would be sent to her within four days. After this incident, Mimi informed the police officers about the matter.
Police say that at least 250 people have been purportedly vaccinated at the Kasba centre during the last six days. The investigation also revealed that accused Debanjan Deb had similarly organized fake camps in North and Central Kolkata. One of these was set up at City College in North Kolkata and a camp at Sonarpur on June 3. During interrogation, Deb has told the police that he had taken the vaccine nearby Bagri Market and Swasthya Bhavan. (WD)
