New Delhi: In an unusual display of disappointment, former Union Health Minister and Member of Parliament (MP) from Bharatiya Janata Dr Harsh Vardhan left the oath-taking ceremony of new Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena high and dry after he could not find a seat reserved for himself.
The disgruntled MP even expressed his resentment with the reporters while walking out of the Rajbhawan where the ceremony was organised.
"Not a single seat has been reserved for the parliament members," he told the reporters in a miffed tone.
A video showing this exchange has also went viral on the internet. Sources close to the BJP MP from Chandni Chowk constituency said he will take up the matter with the new LG.
Does Indian Godi media have guts to upload this video?

Vinai Kumar Saxena took oath as the new Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi on Thursday. 64-year-old Saxena has replaced his predecessor Anil Baijal to become the 22nd administrator of Delhi. He earlier served as the chairperson of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
Dr Vardhan resigned from the Union Council of Ministers last year ahead of a reshuffle in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet, after his handling of the Covid-19 crisis drew flak from critics. (UNI)
