Four militants, who were killed in an encounter in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, had created a bunker behind a cupboard, reports said.
The security forces found the hideout when they raided a house in Frisal Chinigam area in the district.
The police are now probing the alleged involvement of locals in sheltering the terrorists.
A video has surfaced on the social media wherein a bunker can be seen made inside a cupboard at a house.
Indian Army has discovered a new hideout of terrorists in Kulgam, Kashmir, where they used to hide.
A total of seven Hizbul terrorists were gunned down in separate encounters in south Kashmir's Kulgam. Two Army soldiers, including an elite Para commando, also lost their lives in these encounters.
The gun battles in Kulgam took place at a time when there is heightened security across the J&K due to the ongoing Amarnath yatra that started on July 29 from the twin tracks of the Nunwan-Pahalgam route in Anantnag district and the Baltal route in Ganderbal district. The pilgrims visiting the shrine through both routes have to cross Kulgam district.
