West Bengal: Triple murder with slit throats of mother and two minors in Murshidabad

Kolkata: In a tragic fresh triple murder case in West Bengal, a middle-aged mother and her two minor boys were found dead with their slit throats in Murshidabad district on Friday, official sources said.

The brutality of the criminal act happened exactly two days after three women were found murdered in Kolkata's eastern part of the city.

Locals in Murshidabad's tribal-dominated village, Managerpara, discovered a woman and her two boys with slit throats after the main gate of their house was opened early this morning.

The head of the family lives outside of the state for his profession, police and villagers said.The villagers inform the police, who begin an investigation.

The bodies were taken for postmortem in a local hospital.

The latest bone-chilling triple murder happened exactly two days after two housewives and a minor girl were found murdered in three separate rooms in their house at Tangra.

The postmortem reports on Thursday revealed that the two housewives—Rimi Dey and Sudeshna Dey—were found with slit throats and wrists, and the girl was suffocated to death after poisoning her, official sources said.

Kolkata Police, while investigating a car accident on EM Bypass in which three persons, two adults and a minor boy, sustained serious wounds and were admitted to a private hospital on EM Bypass, found the three bodies.

The three survivors were recovering at the ICU in a private hospital in the city.
