5 members of family washed away in Kerala landslide (VIDEOS)

Idukki: Five members of a family went missing after their house was washed away in a landslide in Kerala here at 4 am on Monday.

The five, Soman, his wife Jaya, their daughter Shimi, Shimi's four-year-old daughter and Soman's mother Thankamma, were missing in the incident that occurred at Maliyekkal Colony of Kanjar near Moolamattom, sources said.

A major landslide occurred at Maliyekkal Colony near Kudayathoor near Thodupuzha in Idukki on Monday around 4.15 am. A five member family of Chittadichali Soman trapped under the debris.
