6 injured in explosion in Bhopal- Ujjain passenger train

Shajapur: Six people were today injured during an explosion in a coach of the 59320 Bhopal-Ujjain Passenger Train near the Jabri Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur District, railway sources said. According to preliminary information, the blast was caused when a battery in a coach burst. The injured were rushed to a hospital in Kalapipal from where they were referred to Shujalpur. Medical teams were sent to the spot from Bhopal and Ratlam.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Bhoopendra Singh Thakur told media that a few people were seriously injured during the blast and were admitted to hospital in Shujalpur. A bomb disposal squad and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Railway and police officials are present on the spot. (UNI)
