Panaji: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has alleged that Aam Adami Party (AAP) was trying to eat a 'laddu' bigger than its own size. Addressing an election rally in Cuncolim constituency in South Goa last night, he questioned how could those, who could not run one government, think of running another one?. "Those who cannot run one government, how can they think of running another one?
They are trying to eat a laddu, which is bigger than their size. And I do not have to tell you what happens to those who try to eat a laddu which is bigger than their size," Mr Singh said. Stating that AAP had become Khash Aadmi Party, he alleged that the party was unable to run government in Delhi which was not even a full-fledged state. "AAP, I believe has become a khas aadmi party. In Delhi, they are running a government.
You are all intellectuals and well educated, you find out how they are running the government. Delhi is not even a full-fledged state and they still cannot govern it. And they are in Goa to experiment. Do they believe that Goa is a laboratory?" Mr Singh said. AAP has fielded its candidates in all the 40 constituencies in the state, while BJP in 36 constituencies. Assembly elections in Goa are scheduled to be held on February 4. (UNI)
