Delhi AAP MLA Vijendra Gupta, joins BJP ahead of MCD polls

Delhi:  Aam Aadmi Party Legislator from Bawana Ved Prakash sided with the saffron party, ahead of the MCD polls. The AAP MLA joined the BJP, in the presence of state party chief Manoj Tiwari, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta and other leaders at a press conference here.
 

Mr Prakash's exit is a major setback for the AAP as the party is leaving no stone unturned to acquire the MCD. The polling for three Municipal Corporations is scheduled to be held on April 23. It has all together 272 seats and presently, BJP is ruling in all the corporations. (UNI)
