After BG, Pak shells forward Indian posts in Nowshera

Jammu: After Bhimber Gali, Pakistani Army shelled forward posts in Nowshera sector along Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir today. "Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms heavy automatics and Recoilless Rifles from 0930 hours today along the Line of Control (LC) in Naushera sector also," Defence spokesperson here said.

They said that Indian Army posts are retaliating strongly and effectively, adding, "The firing is presently on." Pakistani Army had earlier also violated the truce agreement in Bhimber Gali sector of Rajouri. "Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and 82 mm mortars from 0500 hours to 0545 hours today along the Line of Control (LC) in Bimber Gali sector," the spokesperson here said. He said the Indian Army posts have responded strongly and effectively. "No injury or damage has been reported so far," he added. (UNI)
