Akhilesh has insulted Lohia and JP Narayan by allying with Congress: Modi

Lakhimpur: Targeting Samajwadi Party (SP)-Congress alliance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today that by allying with Congress Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and SP President Akhilesh Yadav has insulted their ideologue Ram Manohar Lohiya and JP Narayan who opposed Congress. Addressing ‘Parivartan Sankalp Rally’ at GIC grounds here PM Modi said that the Governments of Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress have ruined the state and have been proven failure in every aspect.

PM Modi said that high voting percent was to answer back SP, BSP and Congress and cleared that whatever alliance they make, their sins would not be forgiven. He said in spite of doing welfare of the public they are making alliance, but no alliance can save them. Taking a dig on SP slogan ‘Kaam Bolta hai’ (Work speaks for itself) PM Modi said Akhilesh inaugurated Metro, Vedanta and many other undone projects in a haste to take credit. “Can we travel in Metro or get a blood pressure check in Vedanta? No, because there is no running Metro and no doctors in Vedanta” he quipped.

Urging the public to vote in favor of BJP in the sugar bowl of the state, PM Modi said that who was stopping AKhilesh to pay dues of sugarcane farmers. “In 14 days after the formation of the BJP Government, dues of sugarcane would be cleared,” he added. Slamming the State Government for law and order, PM Modi said there is mafia and criminal rule in UP. He said that daily incidents of murder, loot and rape are putting a big question mark on law and order situation here. “Give me one chance we will send criminals, mafia and land encroach in jail within six months,” PM Modi said. He said that in UP, not work,but notorious incidents speaks. Highlighting achievements of his Government, PM Modi said that his Government has brought such schemes for farmers, which were not there in past 30 years.

He said crop insurance introduced by his Government provides benefits to farmers even they have not sowed. Terming the SP Government as anti-farmers, PM Modi said that even in farmer’s insurance Akhilesh Government did it on the caste basis. He said the Central Government abandoned black marketing of Urea after coating it with a layer of Neem. Criticizing the UP Government for development, PM Modi said the Mayawati Government facilitated power supply in 23 villages while Akhilesh Government provided electricity in three villages. He said the BJP Government at Centre provided power supply in 1364 villages in two years. Mr Modi appealed to the public to vote in favor of BJP and said that BJP would provide good governance ensuring development in UP. (UNI)
