Bhagoria mela molestation case: 15 taken into police custody

Alirajpur (MP: Fifteen people have been taken into custody thus far in connection with the sexual harassment of a young woman during a Bhagoria fair at Walpur village within this tribal-dominated district's Sondwa Police Station limits.

"The case shall be heard by a fast-track court. The accused are Narendra Dabar, Vishal, Dileep, Munna, Lalu, Mahesh, Sunil, Sunil (a namesake), Rahul, Lalan, Kalu, Rakesh, Arjun, Patal Singh and Mukesh Chouhan. A video of the offence went viral in social media. The youth responsible for circulating it will be presented as witness. Additional force shall be deployed at such fairs the last of which is scheduled on Thursday," Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh told media on Monday. (UNI)
