BJP says Dhingra Commission confirmed corruption in Vadra's land deals

BJP today said that Justice Dhingra Commission report has confirmed corruption in land deals of Robert Vadra during the previous Congress government in Haryana led by Bhupender Singh Hooda. Sole intent behind Dhingra commission to defame Vadra, says Congress

Addressing mediapersons here, AICC media in charge Randeep Singh Surjewala said even before submission of report, selective portions were leaked to the press by the Manohar Lal Khattar government, BJP and even the Commission itself to defame Mr Vadra. "The Centre and the state government have run a political agenda of vendetta and revenge for years together purely to slander and vilify. Constitution of Dhingra Commission was a mere cog in that wheel of malicious witch-hunt, propagated by BJP,'' Mr Surjewala said. The Congress leader said various state governments awarded licences for 33,697 acres of land, including over 11000 acres in Gurgaon but the commission was asked to inquire only 16 cases, because Skylight Hospitality, belonging to Mr Vadra, had a licence for a 2.7 acre property in the same.
