Bombayla joins Deepika, crashes out of Rio Olympics

Rio De Janeiro: With another dismal show, India's challenge of the women's individual archery event ended as Bombayla Devi suffered a 2-6 loss against Mexico's Aljendra Valencia here today.
The Mexican outplayed the Manipur girl 28-26, 23-26, 28-27, 25-23 to book her place in the quarterfinals of the category.
Earlier, the day 6 for India at the Rio Olympics started on a poor note as Deepika Kumari too crashed out of the mega-event after losing 0-6 to Chinese Taipei's Tan Ya-Ting. (UNI)
