Break up with BJP, raises possibility of Sena-MNS alliance

Mumbai: The possibility of alliance between two estranged Thackeray brothers, Uddhav and Raj increased as yesterday former Maharashtra Navnirman Sena MLA Bala Nandgaonkar approached Shiv Sena leaders at Matoshri with the proposal of alliance. Shiv Sena broke its 25 year old alliance with BJP , and since then there were talks of Sena-MNS alliance.
The MNS has only one legislature and its chief Raj Thackeray made an appeal to all political parties recently that he was ready for alliance. Mr Raj Thackeray had quit Shiv Sena in 2005. On the other hand, former Speaker and Sena leader Manohar Joshi in Pune said, the alliance between two brothers will have good impact in Maharashtra.
Mr Nandgaonkar met Sena leaders Subhash and Anil Desai who told him that final decision on alliance of Sena and MNS, who rever late Bal Thackeray as their patriarch, would be taken by their party chief Uddhav Thackeray.( UNI)
