Christmas celebrated with religious fervour, enthusiasm in Pondy

Puducherry: Christmas, the festival marking the birth of Jesus Christ, was celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm by the Christians here today. Midnight and early morning mass were conducted in all the churches in which faithful including foreign tourists had participated.

Puducherry Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, his cabinet colleagues, Speaker V Vaithilingam, Lok Sabha member R Radhakrishnan and leaders of different political parties greeted the people on the occasion. (UNI)
