Cockroach found in sealed water bottle; Pune journo approaches FDA

Pune: The Food and Drug administration (FDA) on Monday said that they will start investigating soon against a mineral water company after receiving complain of cockroach inside sealed water bottle.

A city-based journalist Omprakash Pandey has filed application with FDA when he allegedly found the creature inside the bottle.

Mr Pandey stated that he had gone to purchase mineral water in the Shivaji nagar area. He noticed the cockroach after a close look at the bottle.

Talking to UNI, FDA Additional Commissioner Shivaji Desai said that the bottle of water has been taken into possession.

''We are in process to collect the samples and action will be taken soon,'' he stated. (UNI)
