Dreaded Maoist arrested with a cache of firearms in Bihar

Gaya: A joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Special Task Force (STF) and district police arrested a dreaded Maoist, involved in infamous Jehanabad jail break with a huge cache of firearms and ammunitions from Mahuain village under Barachatti police station area in the extremist dominated district last night.
Additional Police Superintendent Arun Kumar said here that the self proclaimed area commander of outlawed CPI (Maoist) and one of the accused in infamous Jehanabad jail break Satyendra Ravidas alias Vidhayak Ji was nabbed from his hideout at Mauain village following a specific intelligence input. He said eight detonators, 20 meter long electricity wire, a battery and large number of iron pieces were recovered from the spot.
The naxalite is a native of Karai village under Dawoodnagar police station area in Aurangabad district, police added. The Maoist is being subjected to intensive interrogation for getting vital clues from him. As it is, around 350 prisoners had escaped from Jehanabad Jail after nearly 1000 attacked the prison by opening discriminate fire from all sides and also exploding a number of bombs on November 15. 2005.
