DVK lodges complaint against Rajinikanth for making false statement on Periyar

Puducherry: Dravidar Vidhuthalai Kazhagam (DVK) here on Sunday lodged a complaint against Tamil Superstar Rajanikanth.
DVK President Logu Iyyappan in a complaint, lodged with the Grand Bazaar police station, said that the actor had deliberately tried to malign the name of Periyar by making a false statement about the facts happened in a Rally at Salem in 1971.
Demanding that a case be registered against Rajanikanth, Mr Iyyappan told newspersons that if the police failed to take action, the DVK would picket all the cinema theaters here where Rajanikanth’s “Darbar” is screened. (UNI)
