Herath takes hat-trick against Australia

New Delhi :Rangana Herath became only the second Sri Lankan cricketer to claim a test hat-trick on the second morning of the second test against Australia today. The left-arm spinner dismissed Adam Voges, Peter Nevill and Mitchell Starc off successive deliveries to achieve the feat.

With the help of web laid by Rangana Herath and Perera Aussies were bundled out for 106 runs when the report last came in.  On the first day Lanka have posted a decent total of 281 runs in the first innings and Australia who are trailing by 0-1 in the series have conceded a lead of 175 runs to Lankans.
