Indore to receive 2.52 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine soon

As the world has begun to make efficient vaccines against the virus that changed our lives in 2020, the Coronavirus; India has also progressed in making one which will now be distributed to all parts of the country.
Indore city will receive 2.52 lakhs of vaccine injections from the 9 lakhs of vaccines that Madhya Pradesh will receive. In total, around 2 crores of vaccine injections will be flown to different parts of the country by 8th January 2021 to majorly affected cities of India. 100 flights will be sent to 41 cities with around 1800 kg of medicine per flight.
The chief operating officer of the Airport Authority of India, Cargo Logistics and Allied Service Company, K. Selva Kumar said at the inauguration of International Cargo; that the vaccine needs to be injected within a duration of 24 hours and thus will be transported via flights and later stored in cold storage after reaching the destinations at the vaccination Centres.
