Jilted Lover slits throat of his girlfriend for breaking up with him

Nagpur: A jilted boy killed his girlfriend after she broke up her relationship with him in Maharashtra's Nagpur district, a senior police official told UNI on Saturday.According to the official, the victim Kajal Kukde(20)' body was found dead near Suradevi area with her throat slit with a sharp-edged weapon.

Kajal was working at a hospital in Sitabuldi. She was having an affair with Ankit Randive (25) and on Friday both met at an isolated area in Suradevi, where she refused to continue her relationship with him, the official said.

Enraged by this, Ankit allegedly attacked Kajal and killed her by slitting her throat with a sharp-edged weapon and fled the spot, he said.Both Kajal and Ankit were residents of Chicholi, Khaperkheda, Nagpur.

Locals noticed the body of Kajal and alerted the police which rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy, the official said.A case of murder has been registered in the Koradi police station and the accused was subsequently arrested from Khaperkheda, he added.(UNI)
